Social life:
Social life out here can be limited; we do like to attend most local events such as campdrafting, rodeos, racers, other events and head up to Karumba for fishing.  This is usually away from the property; It’s not a requirement but we encourage all workers to get away on chosen weekends. You are welcome to come along but may need to provide your own transport.

I can supply you with more information in regards to this, but roughly $925 (Gross) per week – in accordance to the AACo EPO Agreement 2006.  There is a 12 weeks probationary period, annual leave, personal leave, superannuation, accommodation and food, training if needed and free Wi-Fi.

The schoolroom has its own building with a bathroom included.  It provides a great work area, reading area & On-air area for our children. It has plenty of resources and is always stocked with lots of goodies. Each child has their own desk and stationery and there are three laptops in the schoolroom with a printer.  Full access to NBN internet for school resources.  Landline to reach their on-air lessons.

Our Governess/Home Tutor accommodation is a 2 bedroom cottage with your own ensuite, kitchenette, microwave, bar fridge and your own deck.  There is a shared laundry with the Bore runner and Grader driver and a car shed for our vehicle.  A Queens bed (need to provide own linen) with built in cupboards, bedside drawers, Air Conditioning, hot water system, single chair and a black box provided.  (No TV)  The property is on town power. You will be responsible for keeping your accommodation clean and tidy and presentable.
All meals are supplied from the kitchen that is prepared by our station cook, you will be accompanied with the stock camp, bore runner, grader driver and cook at these set meal times; on your weekends off, you are more than welcomed to eat at the kitchen as per normal meal times with the stock camp (if they are working), but on their days off you are responsible for preparing your own meals or you can easily prepare something in your own kitchenette or at your cottage.
No mobile phone coverage.
No smoking in any of the buildings.
