My husband, 3 daughters (6, 4 and 2) and I, live and work at Home Valley Station. Home Valley Station is a tourism based business open from April to October each year. During the tourist season we offer Helicopter rides, fishing, horse riding and restaurant. We also have a pool. During the “wet season” months November to March we are maintaining the property.

Station life
The Tutor is welcome to be part of our family and participate in life around the property outside school time.  Please ask us if you would like to participate in anything as sometimes we forget to offer.  Any help offered is always welcome.
 
Social life
While we do not consider that we are geographically isolated, social life in the bush can be limited.  The Tutor may need to be willing to seek some entertainment/social life away from the property. If the family is attending a function or social event we will endeavor to include the Tutor where possible.


Job Duties
Child care of all 3 children Monday to Friday (ages 6,4,2 – all girls).
 
Home Tutor of 2 children, year 2 and pre-primary studying via Kimberley School Of The Air.
 
Duties:
Prepare and organise the weekly program and schoolroom.  Supervise the children's work and help as required. When possible include younger children (preschoolers) in school activities (e.g. sport, art, drama, etc.)  
 
This position may include the following duties and general help;
When eating with the family help with dishes, setting table, etc.
You are required to keep schoolroom and your own quarters in a tidy conditioning.
 
 
We also prefer a commitment by a Tutor to stay to the end of the school year as this continuity is better for the children.
 
 
Schoolroom
The schoolroom is located in the family home.
Accommodation
An air-conditioned single room is provided. All line is supplied but you can provide your own if you prefer. Room includes:

Hours of work
8am ~ 4pm Monday to Friday.

Once a week mail plane delivers mail. Town runs to Kununurra are most weekends – Tutor will be invited to come along.

Salary Package Valued at $700
